It's true; manga characters tend to look like their same-sex parent, but in reality the resemblance can go either way or more likely both. I (a man) take after my mother more than my father, and my sister ended up looking more like my dad in a lot of ways.

just to be sure, do you know that those are characters from the spin off manga where takagi and nishikata are already married... right?

if you didnt know i pretty much recommend you to go and check it, is amazing and lovely as this one

@RazorsEdge I do know about that manga, I was just introduced to these two when the author had still presented them as alternate universe counterparts. I haven't caught up enough with the spin off to see alt Nishikata.
