Yeah, I don't think anyone actually knows what's going to happen, the "Nene is actually into Kano and just told her she was into this other guy to see how she'd react" theory just feels like the most likely thing to happen given all presently available facts.

Yeah, I don't think anyone actually knows what's going to happen, the "Nene is actually into Kano and just told her she was into this other guy to see how she'd react" theory just feels like the most likely thing to happen given all presently available facts.

I think this is an adaptation (it's also tagged as one on Mangadex). It's based on a single volume novel, from what I remember. Someone who read it might have said something. I suspected as much anyway (and this chapter really hinted at it hard), so that doesn't feel like a big spoiler.
