I don't know how to feel about the ending? It feels calm and peaceful, we get to see them thrive in the lives they chose for themselves and support each other as they do so. What a nice little bond they made for each other!

That said this just felt like... well nothing happened. A year went by and nothing unexpected happened? Kasane is having fun at her job, Subaru is still going to events with Masamune and that's it. I'm not saying this had to end with marriage and kids or anything but... you could have just not published this and it's how I would assume stuff went by just extending the status quo forwards in time.

Shit I would have taken like a goodbye butt slap to Subaru as a sign that their relationship is much more relaxed now and Kasane is more comfortable (also callback to chapter 1) but okay. I still love this series, hopefully the authors next work can be a bit longer.

All of the loose ends were tied and ended quite nicely.
Y'see, I feel like the whole thing between Masamune and the director was intended to have a bigger payoff or resolution at some point in writing. Typically in stories like this, plotlines like that have farther reaching consequences. That said, it is (sadly) realistic in that it was ultimately an unpleasant experience that Masamune dealt with and moved on from without telling anyone.

Here it's said that the game came to be much more close as an experience to the real thing, so I assume it is implied the director either enlisted some social decency in the form of more thoughtful consideration after that encounter, and perhaps also got hooked up and fully immersed into that sort of thing...

Well, it was a fun read.

For the chapter:
Hate time skips that have no purpose.
Kasane is working at new job, Subaru haven't stop crossdressing and even gave support to Kou with some confidence boost, sadly Masamune didn't find a significant other which saddened me greatly...
We didn't get either family members meeting them either, was the hatchet with Subaru side buried and what was the impression of Kasane side.
Shame we didn't see them getting married, what was that time skip even for?

Also, Ren and Akari relationship had too much focus, albeit not the main story but had no conclusion nor reveal about their "questionable" age wise relationship.

For the series:
Confidence boost, confidence boost everywhere from pair supporting each other through Communication Is The Key.

Only thing that was lacking for a perfect score is Kasane not clapping those cheeks at the end. Simple butt slap, c'mon author...

9/10
