Absolutely sick fight, its been a long while but thanks Galaxy Degen.
I’ve noticed that this manga does an amazing job with sword fights. Its sort of amazing that this was a light novel adaption because I wouldn’t imagine the fights as amazing in words as it is in a visual medium. That was some intense sword fight depicted in manga.
I really liked how it was just their skills 'speaking' and not a shounen character narrating everything and also inserting their own insecurities in every swing of the blade.
Just both swordsmen trying to foretell where wounds will land and how to deal the fatal strike without receiving one.
And that promo art of the upcoming anime adaptation just makes me hope it will not be a disappointing one.
Thanks for the new chapter!
I don't have experience reading LNs yet so I don't know how authors/creators (and editors) structure fights (especially for fight-centric stories) are structured, but one thing I can say is that the mangaka really works closely with the creator to do this so well like this. I hope they keep this going as they have a good mangaka for this adaptation.I’ve noticed that this manga does an amazing job with sword fights. Seeing how this manga is already at chapter 54 in the raws, totally wouldn't mind if someone broke the "rules" and sniped it from GDS.
Not just the choreography, the level of details is also crazy. The chipped blade, Beryl's burnt hand, and other things that I probably missed.I’ve noticed that this manga does an amazing job with sword fights. yeah, I expect the anime will adapt this fight at around episode 11-12That was some intense sword fight depicted in manga.

hey, slow-mo is good, as long as they do it right and not just over-snyder-ed it and use them everywhereThis is how you do a fucking fight scene. Expertly choreographed, easy to follow movements, raw skill being displayed with no flashy flair going on to distract from it. God I hope the anime gives it justice instead of slow-mo shots of everything
I normally hate when a Manga does a fight scene chapter with little to no dialogue, but holy fuck does this artist know how to convey everything without a word. That was the most hyped I've been for a Manga fight..... Ever!what a fucking chapter holy shit
So far the studio/s were announced and it's the reason why I hope it would not be handled badly. There will be studios: Passione and Hayabusa Films. Hayabusa is quite a new studio and so far has been working with Passione for a couple of animes now, and I think they will be handling the normal animated scenes, etc. You probably already know Passione and they can be quite 'mainstream' so I guess it will be up to the overall director how this will be done - so still fingers-crossed as of this moment.yeah, I expect the anime will adapt this fight at around episode 11-12
but no information about the studio yet, I think?
I hope they do this justice
