This really needs an anime, not a fan servicey light novel anime, but a berserk type anime with at the very least actual martial consultation from a practitioner of each respective sword used
try records of ragnarokim glad i stuck to reading this manga, i wanted some fucking good fights, anyone else knows something else with fights?
He already stopped living when his beloved died. So in a way, he finally gets to rest in peace.somehow i feel sad about his death...
The early chapters of Tokyo ESP had pretty good choreography. It was right in my alley because they incorporated martial arts like wingchun and CQC with swords, guns, and supernatural. The story fell off during the latter half though...im glad i stuck to reading this manga, i wanted some fucking good fights, anyone else knows something else with fights?
So far the studio/s were announced and it's the reason why I hope it would not be handled badly. There will be studios: Passione and Hayabusa Films. Hayabusa is quite a new studio and so far has been working with Passione for a couple of animes now, and I think they will be handling the normal animated scenes, etc. You probably already know Passione and they can be quite 'mainstream' so I guess it will be up to the overall director how this will be done - so still fingers-crossed as of this moment.
And that promo art of the upcoming anime adaptation just makes me hope it will not be a disappointing one.
I pray the animation can live up to this chapter. With the death blows appearing and fading near instantly. Just wow
yeah, just checked it just now
hoo... boy...
double fingers-crossed
I pray everyday the anime will be this PEAK
If the anime is going to include this, I'm so in. That, and also I want to see two young girls fighting over who gets to fuck their father figure.

I won't get my hope up, NGL. The promo artwork looks generic as fuck. From my experience watching anime for many years, generic promo almost always guarantee a generic animation. Now I only hope the fight scenes should be at least half as good as the manga and I'll be already satisfied. That was some intense sword fight depicted in manga.
I really liked how it was just their skills 'speaking' and not a shounen character narrating everything and also inserting their own insecurities in every swing of the blade.
Just both swordsmen trying to foretell where wounds will land and how to deal the fatal strike without receiving one.

Thanks for the new chapter!
Most anime adaptions follow LN rather than manga I've found. Now you've got me worried the animated adaptation is gonna follow the LN and not the manga.
Not exactly the wrong person, more the wrong reason.Rip (?) Schupel, you wield your sword for the wrong person....
