nahhhhhhhhh that would make me drop it lmao. reminds me of the manga with MC and FMC both manga authors and the first 25 chapters were great and they were so close to getting together but then same as well around the 20ish chapter they added in a childhood friend rival and the FMC kept sabotaging herself back to the starting line... It woulda been peak romance manga if it had the same energy like the 1st half of the manga...

The whole "I'll confess on (holiday/special event)" thing always felt so arbitrary to me. Wouldn't people usually want to confess before the special event so that said event is even better? I guess it just presents a timeline for the story beats or something
