I was just lying in bed this morning, thinking, because I find that I’m the most imaginative when I’m warm in bed, and I thought:
If NBR incest like adopted and step siblings is ok and cousins is ok then why not have a cousin who was adopted and raised as a sibling? Better yet why not have the fathers be identical twins so that genetically they would be half siblings? Did I just find a loophole in Japanese and Korean censorship?
Imagine you have a pair of identical twin brothers who each have a baby around the same time. One of the brothers leaves his baby with the other for a day so that he and his wife can go on a date and so that their sister in law can dress up the cousins/half siblings in matching outfits and take pictures. But tragedy strikes when he and his wife die in a car accident and their kid gets adopted into the twin brother’s family.
Now you have blood related siblings who have always been together, but since they’re technically first cousins it’s totally fine according to censorship laws. It’s like the NBR cop out, but they’re still actually siblings.
