Bro, no offense but they did spent time clean that sfx and typeset it. Not that they did something like a terrible job choosing font, cleaning sfx or translating. You could choose not to read it and ignore instead of making a mean reply calling out their works meaningless like that.

It's not like there was any reason to think this wouldn't get translated by the same person who did it in a timely fashion the previous 38 times.

Wasn't really a choice on my part. It showed up in my updates feed and I thought it was a new chapter, because why would it be anything else?

I mean, it's clean and all but a little bit much, idk like (localized) feeling. This kind is a niche manga genre that we expect from a japanese author and how it accent is kinda japanese-ish like it is a raw translation of the word. It is clean but without much effort it is ok too, perfect even. It's like moss/vine decorated house, they're fine without them but with them it just bring me sense of home.

Also, it's just around 7 hours difference between your upload and the one currently doing this. At least put up some note as to what you're doing and hope with this upload. Leaving things ambiguous and free to intercept is a sure way to bring hate.

It's not ambiguous, it's an SFX used for blushing. I would assume this is a version for weebs in denial who don't like their "onii-chans" in the text.

Maybe I should do my own version too, for shit and giggles.

Actually, you can. You need to go to your use settings, it's under uploader block; you can block groups there too, if you want.

It's a very common Japanese sound effect for someone blushing (sounds like 'kaaaaa', I guess it's supposed to emulate the sound of water boiling into steam or something).

Regardless of whether the 'Onii-chan' is translated or not, this is definitely the better translation, but I don't think the original was bad enough to warrant a do over. Especially since this is a pretty simple twitter manga.
