It's weird. I am rooting for her to get her man as much as I'm rooting for him to get out of this quickly before he goes to jail. Or hell.

Like, them getting together is objectively a terrible idea and almost guaranteed to end badly, but I'd still like to see it happen.

You gotta give them a go in irl, see what can be born beween you and yourself female, in manga they are cute sure as well, Yosuga no Sora is there to prove it
Fraternal twins are no more closely related genetically than regular siblings.

Well that's the case of Yosuga no Sora, but real deal should be when they're identical twins, they can be still in the oposite gender although it's very rare it seems, should be cute if you are cute as well, should be able to put some good fetishes

Identical twins always have the same sex chromosomes as they were originally a single zygote that split into two. Identical twins always have the same sex, because they are identical.

Theoretically you could make a female clone of a male human by removing the Y chromosome and replacing it with another copy of his X chromosome.

I don't think this would really be a clone even in the limited sense of a sex-swapped clone? The Y chromosome is small but I believe it does have some genes beyond the "make u male" ones.

The Y chromosome is not essential to make a viable human, as evidenced by its absence in half the population. There is some stuff on the pseudo autosomal region, but those genes are also present on the X chromosome. The “make you male” gene is SRY, but there are also other genes that code for things like sperm production. Most of the Y chromosome is junk DNA and it has a lot of duplicate genes as well, so it only has about 70 unique protein coding genes.

This doesn't seem relevant to the point? You originally mentioned duplicating the X chromosome, not just deleting the Y (which would be Turner syndrome). You were talking about making a "female clone" of a given person, not making a minimum viable human.

Even 70 ain't 0. I'm just saying that if you want to call it a "female clone" I think all the differences need to be accounted for.

Also, I don't really want to get too deep into it in the comments of a random chapter of an incest and/or tragedy web manga, but "junk DNA" has proven an inaccurate assumption before, you seem to be conflating "junk" with "non-coding", and it is far from settled exactly what genes are junk vs non-coding vs coding.

It's extremely rare but it happens.

This National Geography documentary talks about it

9:45 but you might want to start it a little earlier (or watch from the start)

"Identical twins are almost always the same sex but surprisingly there are a small number of boy girl monozygotic twins."

Then the documentary explains how this is possible.

I hadn’t thought of the possibility of a zygote with extra sex chromosomes splitting in just the right way for the twins to each have a normal, but opposite set of sex chromosomes. But how does it split in such a way that it produces an extra copy of the X chromosome, but not of the Y chromosome?
