カクカク and シカジカ are both like "blah blah" but kaku can mean square and shika can mean deer. Dunno about jika here, maybe as in modern? Maybe just rendaku for shika twice to mean deers?

I think it was just a visual pun.

Onomatopoeia for "explaining things" is phonetically translated as [square] [square] [deer] [deer].

I think it's just "Shika" (deer) repeated twice.
