I'm really curious to see what Mirai's deal is. Was she motivated by jealousy since she wasn't a psychic and wanted to kill her mom and Nana as "revenge"? Did she view the Ebitsumori clan as a threat and wanted to take them out? Is it maybe some misguided attempt to secure her kids' futures by making them the new heirs of the clan?

I wonder how far would the curse spread. Well, there’s just Nana, Mirai, and Kaya left in the main family. Grandma’s sisters probably expired already one way or another. But there’s still people in the household, and branch family like Namu.

Nana did explain the power is proportional to the length of the pregnancy. So probably at one point, the baby’s curse grew strong enough that even Kaya is afraid.

I was thinking that..... I think maybe Kaya has to destroy the new sibling or related to it. Part of me blames the grandma but another part of me doesn't. She was jealous in wanting to be "special" and help out her family. However, if one does come from an important family then you will feel the neglect.
