Otherwise thank you for the chapter, and Something either took over the mother and is using it as an incubator to finesse something else into the world or the "baby" is piloting the mom while it crafts a physical form. Though I like how the author is playing with the tropes of sibling jealousy and how a new addition to the family can often seem to the older children.
