It's probably different depending on each ghost.I thought Chie-Sensei was able to see ghost/spirits? Did she lose that during the birth of Kaya's sister?
She never was able to. She's been trusting Kaya the whole time. Chie, the mom, and the newborn baby sister can't see spirits. The mechanism behind it becomes important later, and is the main issue plaguing Kaya this arc.I thought Chie-Sensei was able to see ghost/spirits? Did she lose that during the birth of Kaya's sister?
No, she doesn't have psychic powers. Maybe she can sometime see something like in the first chapter, but usually no.I thought Chie-Sensei was able to see ghost/spirits? Did she lose that during the birth of Kaya's sister?
The problem actually stems from Kaya herself. Most normies can't see spirits, but continued exposure to Kaya makes part of her rub off on nearby susceptible normies, allowing them to see ghosts too. The returning teacher stayed too long near Kaya, became able to see ghosts for a moment, was almost killed by one as a result, and had a nervous breakdown. She took a sabbatical until recently. Kaya is beginning to realize this, and she's worried that she'll hurt those close to her now...I'm so curious what happened to this new teacher that makes her so cold to a literal child
That makes a lot of sense, but what about her dad, do you think he sees stuff too?The problem actually stems from Kaya herself. normally no, but many people can't really see ghost, even with prolongued presence with kaya like the teacher, she was not even aware that there a ghost until kaya say it, some people are more sensitive about the matter, or because the ghost want to show itself especially when it come to give the coup de grâce, the town is just a haunted place, many time kaya is involved by accident, rather the one provoking those apparition, the clothes itself was haunted long before kaya see it.That makes a lot of sense, but what about her dad, do you think he sees stuff too?
I'd think so, since Kaya's family is also from a shrine background.Does shrine even do anything in this series?
