There's a bit of a nice guy there.

I have to admit he's one of my least enjoyable characters, not for himself, but for his impact on a couple specific others. It's moderately realistic, but still seemed cruel.

That's a shame. These type of mangas always back away from the biggest issue of dating a lot of people and that's the exs. Especially when your world is still small like in high school. MCs never have to deal with the reality of having these people pop up in front of you.

That's a shame. These type of mangas always back away from the biggest issue of dating a lot of people and that's the exs. Especially when your world is still small like in high school. MCs never have to deal with the reality of having these people pop up in front of you.

It's one thing that did stick out to me the first time through the LNs but, at some point, I realized that none of her exes gave a rat's ass about her while they were with her in the first place; it would make no sense for them to take any interest in her now.

Ugh... I'd say this, two of the five got what they deserved, two went through too much and gave up too much to get to what they deserved far earlier... And the fifth... I kept hoping for a shinkansen crash... But again, I can't fault it for being beautifully written, realistic and organic; it evoked exactly what it was supposed to, even if those feelings are resentment, bitterness, sympathy, hope and an odd sort of sadness/acceptance/relief.

It hasn't ended. There is plenty of stuff happening. There are ships being built and ships that crash. There are two triangles. Both have drama. (I'll spoilerize this last bit if y'all think it's too much.)
