It was sort of suggested in the story that Meguru and her sister had an... intimate relationship maybe that went too far but wasn't very explicit with the details beyond a sensual kiss. The two sisters actually having sex would be quite a step up.

Edit: with Kasane looking more worried than otaku-goofy and how Hiromi describes the relationship after that, it looks like it really was full incest.

The depiction of that panel matches other instances of Kasane's "daydreaming/imagining", so I suspect that was her imagination of the extent of Himori & Meguru's relationship.

There's a chance that Himori & Meguru had an actual incestuous relationship, but it's just as likely that they were siblings that got too close, their father found out, and had them separated as a result.
That, and an incestuous relationship doesn't require actual sex between them, so they could have kissed/groped/slept in the same bed or something and that would still count, especially in the eyes of their father.

I'm guessing Kasane appearing apprehensive is a response to her currently-unheeded feelings toward Meguru coming up against the reality of the extent of Himori & Meguru's relationship, how that was real, and what she has is (to her, not knowing Meguru's feelings) fake.

She talks about how what Meguru really needs is Himori, and not Kasane, but how she loves Kasane so much, and how it's so unfair - so I think this chapter might be Kasane finally starting to gapple with how she really feels, butting up against what she perceives as the reality - that Meguru sees her as a surrogate onee-chan, and that once their contract is up, she'll be cast aside.

And that reality scares her, especially when faced with the actual onee-chan who just expressed that she desires to be a part of Meguru's life again.

So really all that "hazy/uneasy" feeling that she's floating in is the dissonance and wrestling of what she thinks Meguru needs to be happy, and her own feelings that would run counter to those needs.

I'm super grateful to for your work, it's not super clean and polished like other TL -TEAMS- but you are fast and that's a really big advantage in its own right.
I was worried this series would end up in limbo with no resolution and I was really interested to see where it goes, so don't let the haters get you down!

Once again seems like Kasane is just unable to understand her own feelings and is just going back to the sister trope.
I guess the ending of their contract will be key, when Kasane asks to continue and Meguru refuses because she already wants just Kasane. Probably theres more mess and confusion waiting before things have any clear direction.

Actually, don't pick up any other series. Your translation and typesetting skills are abysmal and haven't improved whatsoever, this series is basically unreadable and blatantly MTLed without any effort really. I mean, come on, "Meguru is, I'll make her happy..!!" The least you could do is proofread and make sure that your MTL actually reads like something that was written by a real person, but you don't even bother because you're just doing this for the money.

I think the TL is talking about the previous chapter where they uploaded a "joke" chapter that had their social handle pasted all over the place (self-promo stuff), after being told they'd put it into an earlier chapter too many times.
And then it was deleted and re-uploaded with the "normal" chapter, sans abundant self-promo.

Checking an aggregator site that does not update chapters, indeed it was as UdenEmpati says, mostly. He put the self-promo inside the mouths of any character that had their mouths open. It was because someone in the comments of a past character complained that he had put his promo inside of Kasane's mouth twice. And checking that, the TL replied to that guy and has since edited it to blank.

In my opinion, the complaint was quite valid as I was also finding quite off putting how much self-promotion this guy does and how he was putting it inside the panels. Still, I do find it funny that apparently almost no one actually cared for that or his joke and he's saying he won't read comments on these chapters, but him stating he regrets the joke is what generated the most comments.

To note, the "joke" chapter started out with a note calling out the person that complained, by username, and that I do find quite distasteful and proof that it wasn't about making a "joke" but rather out of pettiness.

Then go pay a group to pick up the series so you get that premium experience you’ve been asking for , I’ll just be thankful they’re spending time (and possibly money for the raw chapters) on this series, this is their first work if I remember correctly, so instead of shunning them, just be nice and give them constructive comments not mean ahh bs.

Since she is so dumb and she makes fun faces I tend to forget that Kasane is such a beauty, now that I see her besides the sister she is miles clear of her.

It's funny how in some series, showing up with a mostly okay translation but a couple issues here and there will get the crowd to hurl insults at you (this happened recently with Akebi), while in other cases we get this word salad where it's not clear who is saying what to whom, and people vigorously defend it.

The only real difference is that in this case there wasn't an alternative. People will steadfastly defend a lackluster effort if it's all they have, but if there's a better option they'll become scathing instead.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being disappointed with a bad scanlation. The fact that it's a volunteer service means the scanlator doesn't have to listen to us (and, I'm sure, won't). It doesn't mean people aren't allowed to complain about it.
