Probably just me but this manga had such a strong start but has now devolved into your typical slice of life generic isekai. From the reviews of the LN it doesn't seem like it's going to get any better. Feels like I was catfished hard
Give it a bit longer honestly, you damn well know what they’ve already done to this man in the moment shit starts getting too easy in the sense that views are dropping people gonna fucking die simple as that

Bad guy eats superpill. "Rawr I'l do whatever I want!" Barrier-focused good guy 1v1's and oneshots him. Much wow.
I dunno, I tend to agree with @Qwest that the starting... two volumes or so were innteresting but it's been pretty boring ever since. I don't need brutal murder every volume, but there hasn't been any interesting tension since early on.

And what does Jono-Dono mean to you if you going to be saying that?

The bandit boss has been going to the gym twice a day and never missed a single day. It was also all training and pumping iron, not admiring himself in front of a mirror or trying to impress women.

Too bad it didn't matter at all when facing magic.

Yeah, the tone shift after the introduction arc is a real whiplash.
The manga starts out very different from how it ends up and the start is only there to explain why he is OP.
The manga's beginning is never relevant outside of a few mentions and does almost nothing for the plot as a whole.
As somebody who has read the novels, the last 20 chapters is the true face of this manga.

Other plot issues aside, Lynos pulling a "Who asked?" on the bandit leader's background exposition speech was pretty funny.

The first issue was author feeling the need to push a hard reset button, discarding all they had built up to that point.
Second issue was that what they gained by doing so (edgy "i'm the demon lord rawr" flavour) was likewise discarded, and they decided to make it a regular "collect the waifus"-style slice of life.

Yeah I mean they gave dude his revenge at the same time as they killed his family. Like what was even the point to kill them if dude became chill again 2 chapters after. Feels like they just wasted what looked like some pretty nice characters.

Giving revenge instantly is fine, but then at least keep the edge-vibes. He could have gone actual antagonist mc, or simply edgy mc who stopped caring about authority, or whatever. But no, instead he instantly went to another country and found someone else to serve - though author did change the love interest from being dominant owning him as slave, to him owning her as a slave. ...Was all that maybe really just so that author could justify giving the mc a harem, and the fact he was a slave got in the way of that?

As for the chars they wasted, I didn't like them, considering they liked enslaving mc's. But yes, at that point author had made something out of them making it still be a waste to... uh, waste... them.

The problem is that after killing off the whole cast and exiling MC-kun, the author never had MC-kun decide on a goal or direction. It would be much better if MC-kun were doing things based on him deciding on some life direction. As it is, he is just doing whatever he's told. Passive MCs are always a flop.
