I really like the fact she can turn into a wolf. Seriously, this is a fine touch - a vampir and a wilkołak (werewolf) are the same creature in the first place. The creature takes origin in a hunter cult of the Wolf where drinking blood and eating internal organs brought you the strength of your prey.

And vampire bats were called after the vampire after they were discovered in South America.
