itās strange, it feels like iām reading a different manga than the most of you? everything is laid out so explicitly (the unnamed necklace feature, needing to find their āmastermindā, surveillance magic, not āfallingā for their ātauntsā, recognizing them as āelitesā and warning the suedes to ākeep backā) that itās pretty clear theyāve figured out theyāre demons and are letting sicily act as bait to track the demons to go with how the situation played out.
itās preferable to shin going ballistic and causing mass destruction and collateral damage in an attempt to get her back immediately, and cutting off their link to a mastermind. shinās obviously pissed and barely keeping it under wraps, but if it was actually that dire of a situation to him, he wouldve definitely blown up like before.
and i mean, just look at sicilyās face in the last panel. thatās not a āiāve been kidnapped by the despicable people we were just warned about and iām helpless and have to wait to be savedā face. i know the demons (devils?) outclassed them in combat ability before, all split up, but that doesnāt mean they donāt have any tricks up their sleeve to deal with a situation this predictable
