@undercurses @Juslin i wouldn't quit it but i would temper or remove any expectation you may or may not hve built up when you read the first 10 or so chapters, cause its definitely going the generic isekai route outside of a harem for the MC....

it’s strange, it feels like i’m reading a different manga than the most of you? everything is laid out so explicitly (the unnamed necklace feature, needing to find their “mastermind”, surveillance magic, not “falling” for their “taunts”, recognizing them as “elites” and warning the suedes to “keep back”) that it’s pretty clear they’ve figured out they’re demons and are letting sicily act as bait to track the demons to go with how the situation played out.

it’s preferable to shin going ballistic and causing mass destruction and collateral damage in an attempt to get her back immediately, and cutting off their link to a mastermind. shin’s obviously pissed and barely keeping it under wraps, but if it was actually that dire of a situation to him, he wouldve definitely blown up like before.

and i mean, just look at sicily’s face in the last panel. that’s not a “i’ve been kidnapped by the despicable people we were just warned about and i’m helpless and have to wait to be saved” face. i know the demons (devils?) outclassed them in combat ability before, all split up, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have any tricks up their sleeve to deal with a situation this predictable

Look. This is the only Isekai without a harem, with a male lead that has character Dynamics other than romance and enmity between both sexes. I don't care if it turns generic OP whatever. As long as the relationship between these characters continue. And as long as I can have my Monogamy Isekai. I'm Happy.

Do you know those manga's with hidden dark meanings with consequences for revealing your great power over others, this is similar in fact in another manga series it talks about a man who wields supreme knowledge and skills for magic and became well-known, that even his own family became endangered, his daughter and wife got killed and slowly all his friends left him that is a light novel of course it is not imprinted in the manga yet.

This one is the first one I have seen as a manga to comment on the greatness of consequences of actions

This is what I’m expecting, she gets taken to the priest who is about to rape her, she becomes the hopeless little girl that she is and is expecting the Shin to save her. As she is about to get raped by this SAO rapist wannabe, she still has the pendant that Shin gave her that removes foreign substances, as he shoves his toothpick into her, the pendant activates and completely disintegrates his snickerdoodle.







Or Shin just kills everyone.

@Willbill This has never been a particularly wholesome or clean manga. Did you not remember the very first chapter? Or how 'bout the first demon invasion on that small country? It isn't like a Gal-Cleaning tone shift, this manga always had a grotesque undertone to it.
