"They say the fool lives long. Remember that."
I don't get it. 🤔
So you are more powerful militarily and you're going around saving other countries with no pay, and you're also inviting them to an alliance so they don't feel 'threatened' (after you went out of your way to save them from imminent destruction)? This logic is confusing me (it feels very 'Japanese', not sure how to elaborate, but it's a feel I've gotten from numerous manga, particularly many isekais).
What are they going to do if they feel threatened by the nation that won't be attacking anyone anyway? Are they going to attack the people who singlehandedly wiped out the threat that could obliterate all their nations?
"If all the countries started attacking us en masse"
Hold the fuck up. Why would they attack you who is helping them with no payment over Strom who annihilated an empire and now has goons going around trying to wipe out countries unprovoked? Wouldn't they really obviously do everything they could to get on your good side? Fucking duh? This story is getting retarded atm.
(I am slightly amazed no one commented on the utter absurdity of that)
Why is Mark acting like he can't have a big nice wedding? He's basically joined the most elite group of magicians in the country, getting rich is just a matter of time.
Gah, why it suddenly pretending to be a pseudo-harem story? The 'threatening smiling girl that scares everyone' trope always feels forced, but it particularly came out of nowhere. (doesn't help that Cecily hasn't developed enough of a personality)
Man, despite the early setup about sensing demons, they sure do suck at sensing devils.
Wow, I had a lot of complaints in this chapter...
