Here are summaries of the events of the next few chapters to those curious: Spoilers Duh~
31-1: Evil rape priest weaves the story about how Sicily aka the Holy Maiden is under the "evil" Demon King Shin and they need to rescue her from his "evil" grasp. The kidnappers get tricked and riled into taken action to "rescue" the Holy Maiden. Devils show up after everyone else leaves, commenting about the plan to use the priest to push Shin into becoming a devil and how their mind manipulation magic works.
Shin is being a little overprotective, keeping Sicily close to him. He self destructs a bit, usual group stuff. Sicily gives Shin a good night kiss on the lips, the others go on patrol. One of them realizes kidnappers are heading towards Sicily and calls the others.
31-2: Kidnappers show up to Sicily's room, get infatuated at her beauty while she's "asleep" They throw in a sleep gas ball thing to fill her room with sleeping gas. After gas goes away, kidnappers enter, Shin gates in and asks what they're doing. Sicily wakes up, kidnappers go "no way!" she shows off the anti-foreign substance necklace, kidnappers attempt an escape but the others gate in and catch them.
One of the devils shows up in disguise, kills one of the kidnappers, yells out "righteous words" to make him seem like he's with the kidnappers. Sicily is kidnapped by another devil in disguise during this. Guards come to find out what's going on, get killed by devils.
32-1: The group looks for Sicily. Sicily is brought to evil priest with her arms bound behind her. Sicily tries to call the others to help her via the phone device they have, but priest finds out quickly. He quickly loses interest since he thinks it's nothing. Shin finds out somehow her location. He heads off while the others deal with some of the devils that are around. Shin gets to the location, engages combat with the devil guard there.
32-2: Shin gets into combat with two more devils, one of them was the one that kidnapped Sicily. The three devils are no match for Shin, but find out some things about his defenses and power. One of the three devils realizes they can't match him even when they gang up on him and let him pass reluctantly. Shin enters to see Sicily with her back against the wall with the priest BARELY having his right hand on her shoulder. Sicily is fully clothed, no rips or anything, she's perfectly fine besides being cornered. Shin goes "What the f*** are you doing?"
32-3: Sicily EASILY escapes priest and runs to Shin (She could have run away easily after hearing the loud combat Shin was doing). Shin and Sicily are together, but priest is still there. Priest goes off on a tirade which ends with the whole he doesn't allow Shin's existence in the world, on how he shouldn't be allowed to exist. (This whole point was to push Shin into despair, not through Sicily, but to make him react to being told "he's not meant to exist" bit to push him into despair) Sicily slaps said priest, says the usual heroine lines, says good things about Shin and how much she loves him. Shin tears up a little, the others arrive. Priest gets out of mind manipulation and wonders what was he doing.

It's impossible. Cicily is a very powerful human. While the Priest is an ordinary fat guy who lack of physical fitness. One on One, no way the Horny Priest can lay on hand to Cicily. Unless she become a sacrificial lamb for the sake of Plot Device. But you know what, we are not reading Hentai. So no body will "rape" her, like what you afraid of.
The most probably in here is that we will witness a Prince of Persia plot, where Cicily will be kidnapped, and Claude come to rescue her. (not the new Prince of Persia, but the dos version of Prince of Persia).

Several days after the incident, after it was noted that no travellers had come in from Ys for some time, a strange mountain range was seen some kilometers away from the border. A fact-finding mission was sent and returned to report the mountains were actually the edge of a massive crater with only cracked earth and glass behind. Several allegedly reported seeing phantom images of a large man in the garb worn by clergy, prostrated in front of a smaller man, as well as an overwhelming sense of fury in some and fear in others...

Why the fuck are people here so hellbent on seeing a random country destroyed because of a single person's action? That's not an excuse to say the writing suddenly becomes trash because what you wanted to happen didn't happen. What type of fucked up logic is that?

@Zinstrel the writing is trash because the villains are unintentionally comical, yet the author didnt intend for that and plays it straight, especially with the damn evil priest trope - by now its more difficult to find just your generic priest in weebshit than it is to find an evil one.
even by isekai standards this is just cringy and dumb. the country destruction would be interesting because it would finally give our protagonist some moral ambiguity and lead to Any sort of damn character development which is something we had none of so far, not for the entire series.
