I'm late to the comments section, but I'm glad that everyone agrees that this is peak...in another series, this "miss" would be annoying, but here it is expertly tied into the festival foreshadowing and so instead it feels like it's just powering up the impact.

I also immediately thought of Your Name when seeing that page of them missing each other...this level of fanbase synchronicity is what Masuda Eiji is all about. What a goddamn maestro.
