Reminds me of trying to get my gacha dailies done at a music festival, I got them done everyday over the weekend, but boy was it a nightmare.

Japan really needs to fix its telecommunication infrastructure if getting no signal at a crowded festival is such a common occurrence that it has become a trope lol

It happens anywhere there's a massive crowd of people, it even happens in a particular spot on my commute where there's a 5 way junction during rush hour. Despite saying 5g I get nothing. Saying no signal is just a shorthand way of saying they can't communicate, it would be the same if they had signal.

Nayu mentioned she wants to become "friends" with Hikoichi. I don't see this ending right now. Also this manga sells a lot, so the author can continue the story if he really wants. There are ton of things which can be written in this story without feeling that it is getting dragged on.

The main characters aren't actually the main pair, we genuinely see more through the POV of the groupchat so if they get together the 3 of them can just find another couple to ship whilst also getting updates on Nayu and Hikoichi.

'Cause otherwise, these two just raised the mother of all death/failure flags by running around in a massive festival crowd (of people mostly taller than them, akin to being in a cornfield) looking for each other. Right after failing to even find each other at what they thought was the same coffee shop at the same station? 🥴

(Not to mention they felt like they'd lost their chance forever after that, let alone when statistical mechanics kick in and they don't find each other this time either.)
