Imasara is not Yom's serie.
Yom is only the artist. I get Yom might be the bigger name between the two, but the artist doesn't make the story, just draws. (obv unless author and artist is the same person)

If you want a full Yom work tho, there's Gambare, Douki-chan or something more....cultured

I have no idea what this story is or who that artist is or why everyone here cares about it, but despite being explicitly warned that something about it is bad, now I feel compelled to read it just because this thread is full of people talking about it for some reason. I have to know why everyone is complaining!

Edit: I amend the previous to note that I am familiar with Douki-chan actually, but I think I just saw the anime.

Edit 2: I can see from the comment counts of Imasara going from like 40 in chapter 20 to 400 in chapter 21 indicates some kind of drama. Guess I'll find out in a few hours.

IMO, it's people overreacting and "bringing the drama" to a different comment section that has nothing to do with it. But, to each their own.

I think the main problem people have is the uncalled sudden shift in tone. It was just fluff, now is drama and there is also a pretty fucked up implication. Of course a lot of people is going to reject it, they weren't there for that and you threw a wrench into their expectations.
