My guess is that MC is going to dense or not very bright for a while in not knowing that the brother is gay and likes him. He got kissed earlier, and he didn't contemplate that brother is gay for him [just screwing/messing with him]. And I bet the MC doesn't remember the brother kissed him before as a kid. The twist for the MC is probably going to be realizing that the brother was gay all along and remembering "suppressed" gay memories in his past and that he was also actually gay all along.
