Her lifespan was clearly visible in a frame just prior to Istuki coming into frame... I can only assume that means he is able to see them too, one way or another. He clearly has some drama going on that could be related.

@JoshB2084 I doubt it, but I have to admit it did cross my mind. The girl looks like Umi, if not a bit older, and acts the same was as Umi. And if he were related to them, it's logical Tarou's ability could have passed on to him. What that would mean though would be pretty tragic.
