It's wild how much the first 2 or 3 volumes feel like they're from a different series entirely.

bakaudon is blatantly on meds and it's seriously interfering with the artistry on the page. the manga feels like it constantly one-ups itself in sappiness, and lost all of the edge it had at the start where at least in some deranged way, you actually felt like the mangaka was trying to explore the psychology of the character.

This chapter was so bittersweet. Both girls have done terrible things out of reactive abuse, but they are also both capable of so much genuine compassion and affection.
Kanae has inspired both Hiroshi and Tomiko to become more thoughtful and kind people, and in turn they have inspired and made room for Kanae's intense emotions to be expressed in healthier, constructive ways.

i really don't think you're gonna get an answer unless you try contacting them directly, there was some bonus chapter of her crying at a workplace but that was like a bonus non canon thing i think, but if she's not coming back to school she's probably just living as a shut in

I've been wondering about it for chapters way way before but dont keep your hopes up, with what happened that night and betrayed by her "friends" in school right after, i doubt she'll ever leave the house, let alone trust anyone to try and build new connections

At best? She and her family moves out to try and slowly get her back on her feet on a new place, with her scarred for life to be an anxious scared wreck (hinted by a non canon off hand joke panel)
At worst? She cant handle it anymore and just ends it, considering how dark the writing is earlier in this manga, the parents or school (or both) tries to hush it up due to social stigma, shame and in case of the school, to avoid scandal (she is last seen in school running away in tears after all.)

IIRC her parents were reading/talking about how to deal with abuse victim in the beginning of that chapter when she tried to go to school again.
