If it is BL then it'll be interesting to see how the romance will be integrated, seeing as it isn't marketed as explicit BL.Well, that took a big turn! I did not expect that much gore with that art style.
By the way, apparently this is actually BL? Should it get tagged as such?

BL tag is not something you "Piggyback" for views on a seinen magazine, non BL magazines are typically scared of having anything associated with gay because they are afraid to turn off viewers (especially in the context of two dudes). If they used that tag is because the author wanted it.It's not officially marketed nor listed as a BL work on book storefronts.
They're probably just trying to piggyback off the #創作BL tag for views.
I know its rude, but I simply assumed it was done out of desperation since it's not exactly making any waves and the review count on amazon is rather on the low side compared to other newish series. That and I don't remember Big Gangan producing much (if at all) BL works.BL tag is not something you "Piggyback" for views on a seinen magazine, non BL magazines are typically scared of having anything associated with gay because they are afraid to turn off viewers (especially in the context of two dudes). Regardless, that's the official account and drawn by one the authors themselves.

Either way, if the author really did approve of the BL tag, then they should've done so in the beginning so it could've been labeled as BL accordingly. As you have said, it might be a disservice to current readers if the author suddenly change their genre halfway through. Especially for those who enjoy following series with two male leads without the romantic subtext (BL bait).
