The polyamory feels forced imo, which is weird bc it was planned from the beginning.

Manga spends half of its run-time building up to the straight ship and then suddenly all 3 of the mcs get together; I don't hate it but after spending so many chapters getting invested in one thing I'm having trouble adapting to the other.

and as of now, the male mc doesn't get much love, and one of the girls shows him little to no affection, hopefully it'll improve but idk

ig give it a try? first part at least is super good

ok.. from the comments to the manga itself..
i aint sugarcoating THIS IS JUST MID!, sure pull your poly but make sure its good at the very least
the concept is as original as somari, the MCs? less charisma than dirt, the gl tag? maybe not bait but it lacks yuri anyway (i've seen yuri without the tag do more than that), romance? dragon ball does better
like seriously no one likes this wtf.... (art is good atleast, oh and the comedy... the usual meh)

That's the problem, the GL is developing "little by little". For someone who was attracted here by the GL Tag, they will have to pass through a ton of het romance for a little of GL content. It feels like a bait more than a reward.
Also, the GL content is not really good. You have to endure all the het content just to have the girl being in a poly relationship with the dude who was the center of the romance before the poly relationship.
For someone who is only interested on the GL content, this feels like a teasing or a bait coming from the author.
This is not how tags works.
If there is a love between girls, is girls love, period.
The same way, if there is comedy in the manga it will get the comedy tag even if it's secondary, if there is romance in the manga it will get the romance tag, even if it's secondary.
Sorry if you were expecting this to be focused on the said tag, but again, that's not how tags works.

sad how you're half right, but the even truther truth is tags are never gonna really matter that much

Is it going to be another manga with friendship/friendzone ending?

You know, I could have just dropped this at chapter 22 when it went to shit. But I thought to myself I would stay around out of spite, for ruining a manga I actually kinda liked at the beginning. So that when it inevitably crashes and burns, I would be there to laugh at it.

And boy, was it FUN to watch the rating drop slowly but surely. I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like this was around 8.50 at the beginning. And now it's 7.79 at the time of writing this. As much as I hate yurifans, they sure were useful for once and dogpiled this piece of shit. Yeah, turns out if you put a GL tag on something that has romance between a guy and a girl, they get upset. And the downfall continued well after that tag was removed, so you can't just blame the yurifans, other people hated it too.

In the end, this got axed, and I'm happy to laugh at it burn. And to be completely honest, I didn't want this to happen at first. I wanted it to fix itself. But then they went along with that stupid "throuple" shit, and I just stopped caring. Fuck it. Nothing of value was lost. This outcome was 100% self inflicted and fully deserved. Peace out.

It had potential in the beginning and then quickly turned into one of the worst mangas out there right now

I feel like this was written just so typical harem romcom enjoyers can see how shitty some of the stories are to read

Like my god

On the one hand, polycules, do your thing, that's fine

On the other hand, finally reading a manga where "oh whatever, we don't care about our own feelings at all actually, let's just both date the MC so they can be happy and don't have to deal with making any decisions" and having that just feel fucking terrible was a learning experience for me

But that's because other manga that do that are so bland already that when I read them my brain is completely shut off and I'm not actually invested enough in any of the characters to care that they're just picking the option that pretty much only serves the MC

IDK maybe if I read more it won't feel that way, but reading the last few chapters after the reveal (I decided I'm dropping it so I read the most recent chapters to at least see where it ends up, I realize I'm missing out on context but whatever) it still just seems like it turned from a regular romcom into "let's make the MC as happy as possible" fantasy fulfillment slop. And, like, I read plenty of that slop. But this one felt worse, probably because it was genuinely better than most of the slop for a while.

reading these coments im so happy that i didn't read this. i was reading the description when i saw that the would meet a boy and a girl. and i was a little hesitant (im not really into gl). i read the last chapter. and my boi seems like he is just getting cucked. like. he's riding the rides on his own as they are 2 seaters. and it looks so sad 😭. anyway these comments renforced how bad it is.
