This scan group is all over the place with naming characters, even though the name readings are given for each character...
For example, in chapter 6 they call Maya "Mayu" even though the reading "まや" is given in the raw and on the website character listing. In chapter 3 they call her "Shinjo" for some reason.

I could be wrong, but chances are that Hana/Kotoka are the same and the scan group has messed up.

The only saving grace to me here is that she is legitimately a child so liking someone because the are nice to her is kinda understandable.

The others that use this trope are typically the same or around the same age as the Mc so they kinda don’t have an excuse to be that head over heels for someone just being nice to them.
