Always has been. I mean most manga will get axed just because it takes a month per a chapter. Depending on how long the chapter is it will take years maybe even decades for a series to end on a monthly release. For example I'm a spider so what will most likely get axed simply due to how much story the manga needs to cover. That series light novel ended with 600 chapters. The manga started in 2015 and hasn't even reach the half way point despite cutting half of the story out.

This clusterf*k of an endpoint is not interesting. It was mostly fine even up to ch 40, but then... a chapter for panties, then everyone sleeping together, than going golfing while Elletear just straight up tells Sistear "yeah, I'm the bad guy" and lets her walk away, and then, to cap it all off, it turns out the Empire had the ability to just walk straight into Nebulis's capitol whenever theey felt like it and walks off with the queen.

None of that is satisfying. There's no hook. It's just, hey, look shit suddenly hits the fan for no reason, want to read more?

The least those idiots could have done is have the ending of the novel ad be after the end of an arc, instead of midway through it. I know the idea is to give readers the desire to find out what happens after, but in practice it just irritates them to the point of potentially dumping the series all together.

Wow, it ended mid-volume, even if this was just an LN ad, that's an odd place to axe the manga. It also ends at around the same spot the current season of anime stopped mid-season. I wonder if they're related, and if this means anything about whether they'll actually try to finish the anime season, or just give up on it entirely.

People should remember that the authors are not at fault for these unfinished manga, it's the publisher that refuse to let authors finish their works.
But still, when will Japanese stop buying these and start to tell these publisher to stop their BS?
How can anyone be happy to have half of the manga they brough being just add for LN and not even having the entire story?

I always hate it when anime does that, now manga dies it too. You really can't read any shit that isn't finished anymore... well ideally.
