I agree. I absolutely hate doormats like her.Hinata saved this manga for me. Yuzuki is beyond unlikable.
Hinata certainly thinks she is.Is it even worth going back in time to try and save someone like that?
Maybe it was their music that made them viral and not some drama fuel.Oh no! A video of two girls hanging out together? The horror!
well, I can see a couple reasons. first, she was unsatisfied in the relationship herself. but rather than cut things off (which would've allowed Kengo and Aimi to pair up without infidelity), she instead ignored her own feelings for the sake of not rocking the boat with a breakupWhy is this idiot saying she was also at fault? Wishing her cheating boyfriend and fake friend happyness? Seriously?
If you turn the other cheek all the time, getting slapped in the face will become a hobby. Too much kindness IT IS a form of weakness. And weakness is to be exploited.ah no Hinata, you should've held to your guns and left it as falling for her as a whole

second, well just straight up damage control. even if she's now breaking up, she's still averse to rocking the boat, and this is an olive branch. she doesn't have to sincerely mean what she's saying
I think Hinata is wasting her time.Hinata certainly thinks she is.
I imagine it's long-term low-grade abuse and neglect that's catered her sense of self-worth, though.
I've encountered people like in my life here and there, and it's often also the case that they've had a giant chunk of their life spent being abused or bullied or simply isolated by family and classmates.
The constant isolation and reinforced feelings of inferiority being told "you're not good enough" "why couldn't you do better on that test" "You're not all that fun to play with" "You should speak up more, stop mumbling" "Why do you dress like that" and so on and so forth, will just....ruin your sense of identity and any confidence you could gain, and you either turn into a loner misanthrope, or you strive for acceptance and approval and praise, putting up with literally anything to get even false words of kindness.
It's only two chapters, so no idea how much of that might apply here, but on the surface it's a pattern I've seen before, so it's not entirely unrealistic - though even IRL, people like that can be exhausting to be around, in a sense, so.
I mean - this is the story we're given.I think Hinata is wasting her time.
...sorry your life has left you with that mindsetIf you turn the other cheek all the time, getting slapped in the face will become a hobby. Too much kindness IS a form of weakness. And weakness is to be exploited.
It's a realistic way of seeing life. You can't be too much of anything. If you let people disrespect you over and over with a smile on your face, that's is not a form of strenght, but comformation. Thinking others won't find a way to take advantage of that character flaw is just naive. How can you expect others to respect you since you can't even respect yourself? And no work is free from criticism. I'll give It a couple more chapters just to see where the time travel plot goes and If this pathetic excuse of a main character still shows no significant change, I'll give my opinion on it (because that's the purpose of a comment section) then I'll drop it....sorry your life has left you with that mindset
I don't believe anything is to be exploited. there will be people who do so, but that doesn't mean that weakness exists solely for that
if she frustrates you so much already, I think it's better for you if you drop this one now, rather than giving it a few more chapters

And that's why, as I said, I'll give this a few more chapters. Please read what I'm writting. And I'll judge a character based on what has been presented so far and the levels of lack of self-worth she displayed in just these few chapters are extreme and infuriating almost to a comical level. Só I'll judge her on that. In the same way you like a character initially that later turns out to be awful I can do the opposite. As I said, a comment section is a place to express an opinion and that's exactly what I'll do. If people agree with what I say or not it's irrelevant. You're complaining about what I suspect is a character's main trait/onus for the plot after two chapters of story, that's likely withholding full context for why she is the way she is, in order to more fully establish the narrative and mystery of why the second main came back in time to "save" her.
I agree that no work is above criticism, but you're effectively making a snap judgment about a character before we've gotten their story and development and acting like she just exists that way in a vacuum and that it won't be addressed by the author as part of her character arc.
Like, sure, be mad about the way someone is acting, that's your prerogative - but at least give the author some credit that the characters are written this way intentionally as they relate to the story.
Shitting on the character here and now and simply writing her off before we learn why she's like this strikes me as silly, though.
