Honestly kinda mad at Nina here.. I mean she knows that guy loves her and hates mc, so why would she go there with him to meet mc, that has me question the legitimacy of her feelings not gonna lie.

She has to eventually tell this dipshit off, or give up on mc, she clearly can't have both, if she doesn't say it by next chapter I'll be fumming. 😤

Anyway depending on how long that drama lasts I'm inclined to just drop it and put Nina on the same level as Nagi, because you can't tell me she's oblivious to what she does.

I know as much about the inner workings of the industry as any other random but it feels like these manga are planned to run around 20-30 chapters and anthing over is bonus.

This is literally 1to1 a clone to ”the waitress and salaryman” or what it was called.
Great setting and set up into the most low quality generic romance writing possible.
These two even went for the same timing of rivals appearing and the abusive ”friend” (waitress even had him physically abuse her with no repurcussion, lmao) using their standing to wreck havoc.

Editors and industry standards are a blight.

Manga is a big escape from reality for me and honestly I don't know how many times reading helped me, probably every day...
