as far as FMCs go, Shimohoshizaki is definitely far from the worst one I've come across.
But she seems (from our perspective of Ujioka's viewpoint) to have no interest in romance, which--assuming this follows the many other "Youth/Spring School Stories", will be a big part of Ujioka's narrative and character arc.
And.....Tanba is 100% more on-board with giving him that, than the FMC is.
And she's very, very cool in her own right.
