Considering he invoked a self fulfilling prophesy of “having nothing after being born with nothing” (considering how his goal is destroyed and everyone hates and loathes him now so all this shallow relationships are nothing even if he did give a damn) it may as well be that he is too hollow and broken to even do ANYTHING in life anymore. Probably just wasting away and anguishing in his house being a burden on his mom that he never listened to.
