Anyway, here's wndrwll
Okay, we get that you're so much cooler than all of us. That aside, this manga is designed to be accessible to people and get them interested. So it references well-liked songs that people can actually find.By insisting on dressing like a 90s movie character, Mitsuki may as well have a 1m spiked mohawk and a face tattoo of the anarchy symbol.
Butch AND alternative.
...but jeebus kreebus she's dressed like such a caricature that it makes me cringe.
She's dressed like a band at a photo shoot or a music video set in 1996. Like the cool kid in the 90s movie that's aged like fish.
OASIS?!
Was lowkey hoping the next update after the break from the last chapter was going to be another volume extra with another playlist full of rock anthems like "Uptown Funk"Oh my god, fucking wonder wall. We truly get to see the mangaka's vast and yet sometimes basic ass taste in western music, akin to weebs listening to anime ops and eds only lmfao
M8 other mangaka have other mangaka to take on some of the load. Yet from what I understand, Sumiko’s been responsible for drawing on her own since she started. Idk if that is still completely the case, but the point is she’s just one person doing pretty much all the work alone. This isn’t a Shonen Jump production, this is an indie web manga. If you feel you can do better then make your own manga.Mate, other mangaka also do anything you said there; but their works are 2 to 3 times longer than hers monthly.
And they usually only take a month of chapter-release break because of the new tankobon release.
Also, we got nothing in this chapter after three months in real world time. Just, "Oh, she lost her music." and no explanation wharsoever or make her concert goes longer to play our feelings with every monologue Mitsuki/Aya could have. Just straight out that happens and then time skip.
Umm, I just said that she's dressed like a cartoon character, and puts the lamest music on the same level as great music, because it's Western and 90s.Okay, we get that you're so much cooler than all of us.
The author curates this stuff because they think it's cool. That aside, this manga is designed to be accessible to people and get them interested. So it references well-liked songs that people can actually find.
If they don't know much about anime, why not talk about stuff you like instead of lowest common denominator? If I'm talking about anime to people who don't know much about it, I'll mention reasonably well-known shows (that I still like, so I'm not going to bring up shounen slop); maybe something like Madoka or Steins;Gate depending on their taste.
They could look it up on the magical digital rectangle in their pocket.I'm not going to talk about Kokoro Library or Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou out of nowhere because they'll never come across it, even if it's a deep cut I particularly enjoy.
Ummm, no one said you were basic until you did.It doesn't mean I'm basic, it means I have at least a little bit of awareness of the audience.
I think that's the opposite of pretentious.Honestly, this is all her own fault and she's being a pretentious twat over it. She compromised on her ideals, let herself become a doormat, threw away her passion and now makes the person she loves walk on eggshells around her? Pathetic.
She released an album. She should get some resolve and become a one person act.
Yeah, she did. There's literally a ton of good artists who do everything from writing and playing through to production and releasing all by themselves.
Harusono Shou is totally solo. Did a chapter a month for a long time, added more and more work, burned out, releases much more slowly, now.M8 other mangaka have other mangaka to take on some of the load. Yet from what I understand, Sumiko’s been responsible for drawing on her own since she started. Idk if that is still completely the case, but the point is she’s just one person doing pretty much all the work alone. This isn’t a Shonen Jump production, this is an indie web manga. What? We're in the middle of an arc about Mitsuki being up her own tuchus thinking she's better than her band, and embarrassed that her band isn't cool enough for her girlfriend.Well I for one am kind of glad that we stepped away from Mitsuki’s music arc for a bit. Hopefully we can finally start exploring some of these other plot lines like Joe/Kana, Shu-Chan and the lives and relationship of the girls in general.
I think we all knew that band wasn’t gonna work out anyway 🤷🏻♀️
You're right, I should have used self-absorbed.I think that's the opposite of pretentious.
Selling out is pretty far from pretense of superiority.
She released an album.
Yeah, she did.
Anyway, here's WonderwallOh my god, fucking wonder wall. We truly get to see the mangaka's vast and yet sometimes basic ass taste in western music, akin to weebs listening to anime ops and eds only lmfao
It was a full album. You're right, I should have used self-absorbed.
She did for a single song right? I meant as a one person band releasing albums. Like Kauan, Sunsetter or (lord forbid) that frog fucker Phyllomedusa with his 200 odd grindcore albums.
Either way, her half assed pity party rubs me the wrong way. It's detestable.

I don't care about anyone's taste in music.Guys stop questioning Japans taste in Western Music
But since everyone is talking about Wonder Wall I gotta put my two cents, I love the wonderwall x boulevard of broken dreams mashup up look it up. Plot wise man like I said 3 months ago (last chapter) I don't mind drama but man does it take forever to update and all we get is 3-4 pages and this time I get blue balled by the twins . Cool to see them but why did Mitsuki stop playing tho![]()
