Appears to be the same thing as the school trip thing, the one with the giant feet. The thing that stood out to me was emptiness of the campsite despite it being apparently booked. I wonder if both the school trip and this instance the phenomenon in the mountain is showing it can "lure" outsiders into it's domain.

For me it's the curry immediately followed by a nosebleed?

Curry has way too many flavorful ingredients to be completely tasteless, combined with a nosebleed it sorta seems like the kind of situation that could be extremely dangerous even for non occult reasons? Like you've unwittingly ingested a dangerous chemical or something.
