Oh poor Marei-chan. All that math hurts my head too. lol.

Love that adorable Marei-chan art at the start. And sporty Marei-chan was very cute to see as well.

You know, having troubles with that being at uni goes to show either two things.

A) My country is a shit as we all joke about and have shit education standards (Chile)
B) Japan high school classes are indeed hardcore as fuck

Fun stuff to know and thanks as always lovely scanlators

I didn't even had derivatives and integrals in high school, it was only until college, that said those questions aren't really hard, some of them are tedious though.

Marei asking if she could get into the University with a sports recommendation was the funniest punchline so far.

I've actually always enjoyed math and I've never understood why so many people have such hatred toward it (but I'm not answering no questions, I don't like it THAT much lol). Not much to be said of this chapter other than that sporty Marei is pretty cute!

Thanks for the translation!

As soon as I got out of high school I abandoned math. Doing so has served me well: despite what they teach you about "every job requires some math," I've almost never needed anything beyond basic arithmetic. We aren't living in some 50's era sci-fi novel where you can't even drive down the street without being able to calculate your route in five dimensions. Computers are smart.

the math I need to do at work could be done with a calculator or computer. If anything the most important skills you to take from high school are reading and writing.

I thought it would be some hardcore stuff but it's a lot tamer than I expected. If you really want to know the high tier shit Asian high schools make their student go through, look at China and Korea.

@WhereTheYuriAt its unnecesarry yet difficult. Programming is pretty difficult but people dont hate it because it have a real life use that is very clear, math in the other hand if you work at a very specific situation, heck even if you work there the calculations probabbly made by machines anyway soo its not that usefull despite the hard difficulity

@Savarizki nah, that's a pretty narrow pov. Knowledge doesn't need to be applied directly to be useful and just because something isn't strictly necessary it doesn't mean it isn't very helpful.

At the very core of math is logic (eg if A=B and B=C, then A=C), so if you have a hard time with math, you're probably not gonna be good with logic in general and vice-versa. Learning math is an easy way to develop logical thinking which is why it's incredibly important for people, especially when growing up. Math isn't just adding numbers, it doesn't matter that you can use a calculator or whatever program if you can't even figure out what to calculate to begin with or which elements should factor in and which shouldn't. Understanding probability is also math and it's useful to people in various insurance business and even to politicians determining national policy.

As a lawyer, I can tell you that I use math often to justify how much I'm asking for this or that and such logical reasoning is pretty damn useful to convince a judge, as opposed to just throwing out a number you pulled outta your ass and that's far from the only use. And as a hobby programmer, I can also tell you that, while technically possible, the idea of programming something complex without having a good grasp of math is insane. I remember once having trouble getting an object to circle around the screen while allowing the pathing to be a little bit more variable and controllable (it's hard to explain what I wanted exactly), but when I thought of just using the standard equation to create a circle I managed to do what I wanted in just a few lines as opposed to a ton of lines of (poorly written and much more costly) code. Could I just look up the equation? Yeah, but I had to remember there was such a thing to begin with and understand how I could then alter it to alter the circle.

At the end of the day, the more you know, the easier a lot of things in your life will be and that includes math. If you're bad at it (or other subjects), then you can't even begin to understand how that knowledge can be applied to your everyday life and in a series of different ways.

@WhereTheYuriAt well as a programmer i never use it, even if i do rather then calculating i just search it in the interweeb.

Anyhow since you are a lawyer, is it legal to have concensuaĺ sex with a 24 years old loli that is used to be to a guy that ks turned into middle schooler?

@Savarizki I deal mostly with environmental law, so unless you're having sex with a tree, don't ask me. Though I wouldn't wanna hear about that either tbh.

Please don't insert nonsense `text` out of nowhere in the page

@yurirei -- Hi, thanks for pointing that out, and sorry if that disrupted your reading experience^^... It's definitely not something I'm doing intentionally or as a joke; rather, it's a side effect of my particular typesetting process that sometimes those slip through the gaps. I'll do my best to get that fixed in a future edit update!

One small thing -- I'm thankful when people point out mistakes to me for fixing, but when you point out things like that, it would be super helpful to me if you pointed out specifically which panel has the problem... it's hard for me to tell when I look at the whole page (which is part of the reason it slipped through in the first place :c). But thanks again!

Oh, I'm sorry about that. I should have cropped a specific panel to you but my current pc doesn't play well with graphic stuff so I couldn't crop it down.

I will try to describe it: it was the third right panel from up to down. There was a black text string on Chiyo's blaze.
