kyuu decides to go to tokyo to work at the hotel and learn for 3 years, and it kinda leaves it on an unknown note.

however they have released extra chapters once every 5-6 months since the ending with a timeskip, so it's possible we can see it happen in one of those but a drawn out romance arc just doesn't happen.
