Is te title a reference to the Machete Films?. I remember that the first film "Machete" was random violence with plot, and "Machete kills" wast just a killing spree.
We'll have to wait for the next title "kiriko kills again.. in space"
Entertaining. Decent build up for a short story, but pretty darn broken once you think about it.
TLDR:
If all it takes to cause so much utter destruction, is just to have one ghost under your command -- it's pretty darn weird there aren't more ghost-users out there. What makes that guy so special that he seems to be the only one in creation whom has a ghost under him?
I don't think I come across as particularly smart by mentioning all of this, but it is something that occurred to me a few years ago, while I was watching The Grudge movies.
A random murder spawned a house filled with vengeful ghosts that absolutely destroy anyone who steps inside of it, no exception. Okay, but how come it seems like the world has never seen anything like a ghost before, if it clearly exists? There are no monks? Priests? Perhaps talismans or consecration methods to exorcise them spooks.
This is just my long way of saying that, it's a fickle way to create a story. The idea itself is decent on its own, in isolation, but on a grander scale it becomes a clusterfuck. There are billions upon billions of people on planet earth, you'd think there'd be more ghosts. Just 1 of them causes so much ruin, a thousand of them would be apocalyptic. At that point, the story goes full-shounen with ENEMY STAND one after another,
And that's pretty much where it stops being an interesting horror story, and instead it becomes a generic action flick.
