@RC1138Boss It makes me wonder about the relevance of the last page if everyone, including Rosa, knows she's a girl, and this isn't a scenario where she's either hiding or ignorant of that fact.
Could it be that she can't become a knight as a girl and everyone around her just doesn't have the heart to tell the truth?
Just gonna guess that the last panel is just to confirm that Rosa is indeed a girl. It was pretty obvious with the hints but it's nice to get confirmation
@Tersione I don't believe that the Japanese have a strong gendered naming convention like the West. In so many of Manga that I have read, the majority of western characters have strange names that show an unfamiliarity with western style names in general. Even Arte, a Manga that tries really hard to be historically accurate to Renaissance Italy has an Italian nobleman from Venice named Yuri Falier, a Russian first name and French last name. In this Manga, the Mangaka gave the MC the name Rosa, a Spanish name while Scarlae and Celus aren't. My guess is that giving her a feminine name wasn't intentional or was something meant to slip by the original Japanese audience.
@Legion Makes sense too I guess. Lord knows how many times I've had to do a double take at the names authors give things in their stories within this medium.
