i agree, it feels like things are moving too fast but also not at all
tbh this isn't s bad story, but i'm only really reading it for the lack of smth else to read (and the occasional spice )

well that's because they haven't. what seen at previous chapter just wet dream caused by that petty spirit

anyway, that's the differences between Clark and that spirit. while they both need to suck other person life essence, Clark won't do it without permission (well, outside what she did at 1st chapter back then), the spirit sisters just suck people essence whatever they want to. even the victim still at the ICU. that's why Lai won't kill Clark. although I'm sure that's not the only reason
