I had the same thought, but that might be a translation issue. Maybe they both said "bathing". Or heck, maybe the term used for bathing 800 years ago is now used for showering, though I doubt the author thought about language changes when considering this.

I guess we'll probably find out next chapter. She also may or may not be thrilled by the clothes since she seems to be very vain.

yeah, there is definitely some connection between those two. it seems that due to Clark drinking Jiang's blood (albeit on very small dose), that makes connection between them. although I'm more curious on Clark's confusion from previous chapter. it seems that she become vampire without she even know about it. a bit of mystery that I'm kinda enjoy. plus I guess that Jiang already swing into become lesbian and get baited on Clark's beauty. that's nice addition for me
