Note to anyone to have ever used or to ever use the term "point blank":

See illustration on pg. 9. The real meaning of "point blank" is what's labeled "second aiming point".

If you use it with any other meaning and contribute to the perpetuation of this term's misuse, you are a retard and deserve to be shot with a swivel gun loaded with unwashed cutlery. At your meaning of "point blank".

Wouldn't you aim low if the scope is zeroed for longer distances?

If you aim on center when zeroed for a longer distance, the projectile will go high.

I find the info dumps very informative. The translator does a great job of researching the various rules and regs, so hat's off to them. As a side note, having to bicycle pump the rifle..what a drag. should have gone with a break barrel.
Yeah. Almost 3,000 psi? A car tire is about 30-35 psi, and a bicycle tire is a bit more, and they are a chore to pump up (Well, a car tire because of the large volume). I can't imagine trying to charge an air rifle with a hand pump like that.

Point-blank range

Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Point-blank_range

Point-blank range is any distance over which a certain firearm or gun can hit a target without the need to elevate the barrel to compensate for bullet drop.

I don't know from guns, but I have never considered what this term referred to. So those tic marks on the crosshairs are 'aiming points'? I had never considered them when seeing them in movies, etc. I appreciate the new information.
