Yeah, those brats would have been better off filling the spider's stomach.

Hard to argue with Haachama's lunch here. Japan's penal code is super harsh, but when it comes to minors it's completely worthless. Junko Furuta's killers should have been given 5 minutes alone with him.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure murdering a homeless person for shits and giggles absolutely transcends mere "neighborhood bullies" (see ch.105 note) and Spidercop's decision to forcefully remove them from the gene pool would have been a much better outcome.

@justforthelulz, that is a matter for the courts. In proper civilizations, the police force does that exactly, police ... not judge or carry out sentences and giving then such power would lead to abuse and no, vigilantism would lead to said abuse even faster.

Taking of a life as punishment is only a right the state have and should have.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to respond to me by reiterating everything Dogcop already said in this chapter,
especially given that Dogcop also acknowledged the severely flawed human-centric law/police systems in-universe.

Surely, you don't actually think I can't distinguish between a fictional story with fiction characters and fictional actions
and
Reality, where things are most certainly much less easily sortable into morally right and morally wrong?

I hope all the homeless beating I see in anime/manga is mostly just a fictional trope and not the reality of things in Japan.

@orochijes actually it's pretty common all over the world. There are shitty people like that everywhere, not only in japan.

...sorry man, you're gonna have to tank your hope in humanity for that one. It's been a long running issue in a lot of countries across the world, some Central and Southern American countries (I can't remember which ones specifically, but I think Mexico joined this as well) literally made it a criminal offence to be homeless, and it's gotten VERY ugly, like vigilante killing of homeless adults and children ugly.

"the children have already let go of their weapon" is sticking a knife inside a person's harm letting go a weapon? wha

The kids were terrible, but killing kids and then having to explain to their parents that their children "deserved it", is outright evil. Brats like that need extensive professional therapy and time in a youth correctional facility. Give them the opportunity to atone for their crimes and be excellent, contributing citizens.

i just can't understand why all these authors include magic that surpasses pretty much every technology that we humans possess. Then act like those people who use the magic should at all be scared of something as comparatively useless as a gun. It makes me so irrationally angry.
