So she didnt expect that the situation would get worse, and didnt realize the owl beast she hired actually eats humans for food and didn't listen to what the woman promised.
Before the fight there's comments that the the guy deserved it sided with the woman. It made me question that those people think that 'violence can be ended with even more violence is A-OK' only in reality it made things worse around it.
Like the woman could've just went to the kitsune for more help, but instead went for a shady organization she barely knows and gave trust to an owl beast that see humans such as her as food.
