If the Mother taught Kiyo bookkeeping and such, she would soon know most of the essential things for running a small restaurant. I don't know if you need some certificates in Japan, like hygiene related, but I doubt they would be much of a problem for her.

The opening pages made me think it was going to be a Tsurukoma/Riko chapter. Kind of disappointed it wasn't.

Slight translation (or spelling?) mistake on page 9. It says the chicken cutlet is served with tatare and Worcestershire sauce, but it's supposed to be tartar sauce. Tartare is a dish of shaped chopped raw meat, usually fish or if steak tartare, horse or beef.

@SnowingSilently Good catch, but I think the most accurate translation would be "with tatare sauce and sauce" (as in the mysterious brown Japanese sauce). Will make edits in the next release

@Winstonite eh what the hell, Japan does have some French brand of a cheese and garlic sauce called Tartare. But タルタルソース translates to tartar sauce, and a quick Google search confirms it is eaten with torikatsu. Although I might be misunderstanding you, but you did type "tatare sauce". But you're also saying the other sauce isn't Worcestershire sauce? Isn't that what they normally serve with katsu? Or at least a blend of Worcestershire sauce and ketchup and some other stuff?

Also about [ソース], Worcestershire sauce is the closest thing to it I can think of, but they’re not the same thing. Japanese have this weird brown sauce that they eat with Tonkatsu and cutlets, simply named “sauce”

@Wisconite still should be tartar sauce, not tatare sauce. I can't find any evidence of tatare sauce, and タルタル is still tartar. And considering that tartar sauce is often depicted as a condiment for torikatsu, it's reasonable to assume that's what it means. Maybe it's a typo, I'm not fluent enough in Japanese to tell. Page 10 I think might be depicting a light coloured sauce since it's in a bowl but it's not rice, which may lend more credence to it being tartar sauce.
