Because strawberries are divine. Especially when freshly picked from the plant, still warm from the sun... something sublime: tasty, sweet but always with that hint of fresh fruit sourness. Of course, as others have already said, supermarket products aren't always great, but the really fresh ones... they beat any packaged product by far.

Just here to reiterate that supermarket strawberries are ass. Most of the time (where I live at least) they are watery af imported Spanish shite. Local grown, farmers market stuff ftw.

I should note I have also eaten a strawberry fresh from a home grown pot and that too wasn't that nice either. Perhaps the strawberries in my area are just pants :/
