Adding to what SunSun said, politics has infested everything, mainly because the middle has fallen out and there is no middle ground anymore, with both sides being absolutely diametrically opposed to the other to the point some fall into outright hatred of their fellow countrymen, as a fan of reading up on history this is usually a preludes to wars and civil wars, but we unlike our ancestors can vent in forums and the public square which has probably prevented it from getting kinetic yet, but it's only gonna get worse online because 90% of people are politically activated in some way now and only 10% are in the middle, if that.

Still, my hope is being able to vent frustrations will prevent this from becoming violent, so while it's annoying, this is almost guaranteed to become the norm everywhere before long for a while.

That being said, i do more or less wish we could have a neutral ground, but it seems that day is at least for now, gone.
