I am not sure "MC show up and fixes problems" is a critique. That is like the vast majority of stories in a nutshell. Problems happen, MC show up, MC fixed problem, the end. What matter is the detail, in this case, I enjoy the way he fixes problems. He doesn't wave magics around and shit got better. He leveraging his position, recruiting and delegating the right people, and playing the imperial politics very well. Yes, he is winning a lot, and I understand some people get bore if MC doesn't get their nut kick once in a while. But honestly, the world building is keeping me interested, not many manga put this much attention to the politic and government structure, and it is more interesting to see stupidly powerful things being use to maneuver within the system, rather than just smash it like in most story. It's so average.
Read up to chapter 26 and it settled into a concise formula. Each chapter something happens, MC appears, fixes the problem, "MC you're amazing!". Very rarely do we see something different happen, like for example in chapter 26 bandits attack him and the other prince (his brother), he defeats them and recruits them because woe is me, the famine, everything that is out of our control. It's such a tired trope, author does this every so often.
The start was nice, but it fell off really quickly. Since its an average story its good enough when you're bored, just don't expect too much.
